The combination of a great attitude and undeniable talent helped launch twice ARIA nominated Aussie Rock Chick Marie Wilson’s first single ‘Next Time’ to great success.  ‘Next Time’ was one of Australia’s most played songs on Australian radio in 1998, blitzing the Top 40 charts.

Since the release of Real Life (1998), Studio Sessions (2001) and Heartbreak (2005) Wilson took a well-earned break from music. Whilst the break proved to be refreshing, it also lead to moments of self-doubt where she questioned whether she would write again.

Her song ‘Extraordinary’ changed all that.

What Marie experienced was a creative renewal and her current album now titled 'Extraordinary' proves it.  Her fans will be glad that her songs still have the authenticity and powerful rawness of her earlier work, but the songs now reflect the new dimension of life experience she gained during her creative drought.

Check out her tour dates to catch a live performance.

Biography

Marie Wilson has worked with some of rock music’s greats including Bryan Adams, Mark Hudson (Aerosmith) and Arif Mardin (Norah Jones).  Leann Rimes recorded one of her songs ‘Review My Kisses’ on her ‘Twisted Angel’ album.

But Marie’s voice is her strongest instrument; this coupled with her world class song writing and hard hitting acoustic guitar playing has earned her the reputation as an enduring talent.
